The ring is beautifully crafted. It feels very solid and every bit of it is smooth and comfortable. It looks magnificent in the sunlight and also nice inside the house light as well. The ring is not very heavy and I can comfortably wear it and forget that I have it on. I have no idea how they make the meteorite material wrap around a ring but everything looks top quality and the material being 4 billion years old is just fun to say.
I was skeptical when ordering, but I was surprised how good it looked, it actually looks much better in real.
Very happy with the fit and feel of the ring. There's a generous enough amount of metal that the widmanstätten pattern is clearly visible, and the titanium shell is nice insurance against corrosion. Photos really don't do a justice, there is some beautiful layering and silvery iridescence below the surface etched pattern. Nice piece, I always wanted to do meteor metal for a wedding band and this was the right amount of metal for the right price. I sized my finger with a professional ring gauge, the fit is very accurate and has a soft transition when putting it on.
Cannot say enough how impressive THIS ring is! My husband insisted that I choose his wedding band. He literally said, “Surprise me!” Just like the love I have for him, THIS ring is outta this world—quite literally!! The inlay of the Gibeon meteorite is stunning, to say the least. In certain light, it almost looks like it glows blue. Just gorgeous! It also comes with a certificate of authenticity, which makes this even more special and unique. I have been looking at meteorite rings for three years. Thorum won me over with how they make this Gibeon meteorite ring and the included perks of an amazing guarantee covering repairs and size changes. I had looked for ages at Patrick Adair Designs' meteorite ring made of Muonionalusta with a glow liner, and I have bought from PAD before, but their recent shift in the way they produce their meteorite rings and their discontinuing of the glow liner forced me to look at other companies. Also, Muonionalusta rings are notorious for rust, so I had second thoughts about dropping $1k+ on a ring that will rust easily. They also make you pay a lot extra for a guarantee to include care, repairs, and loss. Then I saw a response to a question on Reddit about meteorite rings from Thorum's owner describing how they coat their Gibeon ring in layers of epoxy so the ring is sealed and will never rust. Also, the Gibeon meteorite has the same Widmanstätten pattern as Muonionalusta, but is much more stable and less prone to oxidizing or cracking. I've seen horror stories on the review pages of other jewelers like PAD and their official Etsy store from broken, cracked, rusted meteorite rings. I checked out Thorum's offerings, and I loved that their Gibeon ring addressed all of my major concerns about a meteorite ring in its design and presentation. Also, the price was a better deal than other places, and they included a free silicone ring to wear to swap out when you're doing something that might damage or scuff your primary ring. Their customer reviews are all great, too! Plus, they offer a lifetime guarantee that I didn't see until after I bought the ring, and all you do is pay $25 for repairs, size exchanges, or covering loss! Other places charge $250+ for this kind of coverage! So adding all of this together (the quality, the guarantee, the reviews, the price) I had to go with the Gibeon from Thorum as my prized meteorite ring I had been saving for and researching for 3 years. And IT IS A STUNNER! I have no regrets getting this ring. Fantastic.

I was very skeptical for this purchase, but after reading a ton of reviews online I decided to pull the trigger. Wow, so glad I did because this is a fantastic ring! It looks better than I expected and I do love the coating to protect the meteorite within. I also had a great experience with their customer service. I mistakenly put the wrong shipping address, however after emailing them about it they were extremely prompt in correcting my order and resolving the issue. 10/10 would buy again!

Was super excited to get this ring, wife bought it as an anniversary present and I’m not a huge ring guy but absolutely loved the design shown on the website. Sadly however, even after understanding there will be differences in the finishing considering its a unique piece of metal, I did not think it in the realm of possibility for my ring to come out looking so different to the original product. Its almost black, and doesn’t show the graining like the original grey picture.
The Gibeon looks awesome in the sunlight, you can see the different patterns of the meteorite, very unique and very entertaining to look at as well. Great craftsmanship, Caleb knows what he's doing. Size 9
My fiancé LOVES this ring! He doesn’t love jewelery and wasn’t excited to wear a wedding ring, but ever since we’ve gotten the Gibeon, he doesn’t want to take it off or wait for the wedding to wear it. It’s incredibly high quality, beautiful, and unique. Highly highly recommend this ring!

My son wanted this ring for graduation which kind of surprised us because he's not much for jewelry. The fact that it's made from meteorite is what sold him and he knew having a titanium sleeve meant it would pretty much last forever. We decided to give it to him a few weeks early on the night of his Senior Prom so it would be a surprise. He loves it and now my husband wants one so I'm sure I'll be buying another soon.

I received the wrong order the day before Thanksgiving. I contacted Thorum right away and received a response the same day. In less than a week I had my correct ring. Looks and fits great.
Looks exactly as in photos and reviews. Fit just nicely , felt comfortable , awesome quality craftsmanship. Certificate of authenticity is questionable but overall definitely worth the money! I love it.
My fiancé had said he hates jewelry and doesn’t want to wear a wedding ring, but I knew he’d want to wear this, and I was right! Tested it to make sure it’s magnetic, and it is (see video)! Chose this one out of all the options out there for the epoxy seal to protect the meteorite from rust.
He wears it and it’s comfortable! He’s allergic to most gold and silver so this was a great substitute and he loves it.
My Gibeon ring is of outstanding quality. I get compliments wherever I go. The order processing and shipping were both lightning fast even though I was on the other side of the country! Love the wooden box, and the complementary silicone band was a nice touch also. Could not be more satisfied!

I had been searching for a meteorite ring for a long time and finally found this one. It looks great, it's comfortable and easy to wear, and it makes for neat conversation. I'm glad I chose this as my wedding ring. It comes in a very nice wooden box, has a certificate of authenticity, and comes with a black silicone band in a small drawstring bag for occasions that may be damaging to the ring. And the fact that this ring is sealed in epoxy makes caring for it extremely easy; rust isn't a concern with this ring unlike all other meteorite rings I looked at.
I spent a lot of time researching sites and rings and options, and this was the clear winner. I have been wearing it over a week now and still loving it. Used ring sizer I ordered and chose size that fit my finger best. Then ordered ring size based on sizer and the ring was sized true to size. Really like the comfort fit. Attached is photo but ring looks better in person. I highly recommend this company. They say what they do and they do what they say, no gimmicks with this company. Truly satisfied customer.

We LOVE this ring! Meteorite makes it unique, titanium makes it classy, and the added seal of high-grade epoxy makes it practical! We ordered the Northbands ring sizer first, found out that my fiancé is a size 10, and the ring fits him perfectly. The ring came in a pretty little wooden box with a certification card of genuine Gibeon meteorite. The black silicone ring that comes with it is very nice too! The Northbands staff was wonderful to work with as well! My fiancé has his dream ring and we didn’t have to break the bank to get it!
Beautiful Ring! True to size. When discussing rings with my future husband he insisted on a meteorite ring. This one couldn't be more perfect. It is waterproofed with epoxy so it shouldn't rust. We work in the reef aquarium field so this will be tested to the max. The titanium is very smooth and lightweight. So if you are looking for a heavier ring this isn't it. The ring comes in a perfect little wooden box with a burlap ring cushion. It is quite chic. Plus the silicone activity band included is a nice touch. I can't wait until my guy sees it!

Excellent ring! I absolutely love it. It’s very well made and very comfortable. The weight and size of it are fantastic.
Well, for starters, the customer service was excellent! I got personalized video email communications and follow up emails promptly. They answered some questions I had and helped me choose this Ring. They even sent me a free ring sizer so I could test it out for a few days to make sure I got the right size. The color I got was that slate gray and it looks exactly like it does in the picture they advertise on the website. I had a small household magnet. I tested to the ring and it’s very magnetic. Not sure that means anything, but it means there’s some kind of Ferris material in there so it’s not just titanium with fake meteorite! It looks great and overall, I’m very happy and would do this again.

Absolutely beautiful ring, the color shifts and patterning are based on what light it’s in. Most of the time it’s a light blue grey, which is great for my chosen styles.

Ring was nice but Thorum’s exchange process is a nightmare. We exchanged ring for a half size larger, but was sent same size twice. We decided to keep the 2nd ring as we needed it for our wedding. The exchange was initiated via Thorum’s exchange portal and 2nd ring was sent with a return USPS tracking label. Tracking indicates item was received by Thorum’s almost a month ago. Reached out to Thorum’s CS Jordyn along with pdf copies of their tracking information but CS claimed still not able to find my package? All they needed to do is get on USPS portal to see confirmation that it was received by them?! Unfortunately I’ll have to pursue a refund from my bank. I want to support a small business but this is not the experience I expected.

So, when my partner reminded me about the lifetime warranty, I’ve reached out to Thorum about the replacement ring I paid for, and they totally refunded the cost to me.
