The M1 Garand replaced the M1903 Springfield as the standard service rifle in the Mid-1930s. This design was used as the standard service rifle both in WW2 and the Korean War.
This stock has seen active duty, and has been broken beyond repair. I decided to stabilized the timber in a vacuum and use in paired with sandblasted Titanium in this design. All titanium rings with inlays are sealed with Titanium Aircraft Adhesive, and each ring is sealed in lustrous water resistant finish. Finally the rings are polished with beeswax. We use jewelers grade 5 6AL-4V titanium in every ring.

Love it, doesn’t scratch and feels great to wear. I almost forget I’m wearing it sometimes! The silicon band is great for work and feels extremely comfortable too

I am huge fan of the M1 Garand rifle, I own one also, and I am a ww2 buff. I like the fact this ring has the inlay of a stock that has seen active duty. The ring itself seems well made and is so light. I really like it. If there was one thing I thought from the website photo is it looked lighter in color. I still am happy with it.
Great buying experience with Thorum. The M1Garand looks as good in person as it does online. I did have to do a size exchange even after using their sizer first. But even that was a painless process.
I was thrilled when my fiance, now wife, showed me the ring she picked out for me. I love history and I love woodworking. This ring brought those two passions of mine together. Added in was the love from both her and my son (he helped pick it out). It fits perfectly and is a great conversation piece. I highly recommend at least looking into these rings

Was on a bike trip through Normandy, France. The M1 Garand ring was a perfect way to honor the brave Americans who fought with that rifle, many paying the ultimate sacrifice. The photo is from the US cemetery above Omaha Beach.
This beautiful ring was everything I expected. I surprised my partner with a promise ring and he absolutely loved it. The gray metal is a bit darker than it appears in the photo, but it was not a issue at all. Perfect size and perfect fit. He also appreciated the silicone ring and the certificate of authenticity that came along with.
My fiancé is so, so pleased with his wedding band! His first gun was my grandfather’s M1 Garand—an heirloom given to him by my father. So when he found the Northbands Garand ring, he knew it was the one for him. He’s upset he has to wait until we’re married to wear it (lol).
We unfortunately ordered half a size too small, despite purchasing a ring sizer, but the exchange process was seamless. I usually hate returning or exchanging things via mail because it’s usually a nightmare, but this could not have been easier.

The ring is beautiful, we both absolutely love it. Hubs-to-be isn’t a jewelry person, but he is looking forward to wearing this unique piece when we get married next month. When I was looking for a ring for my fiancé, I looked at a lot. Then I saw this one and knew it was the one. It has a little history with the wood in it being from a weapon used in a war which is perfect for my fiancé who is a veteran! The shipping was very fast and the box it came in was a nice surprise!

As a WW2 buff, this ring was almost "made" for me. It feels so great having a piece of history on my finger. The craftsmanship is excellent, and this is by far the most comfortable band I've tried on. I can't recommend this company enough!
