All I can say is simply incredible. If you are looking at staying away from a big box store this I the place to go. My husband is absolutely in love with his ring. He wanted so desperately to match to my white gold and rose gold engagement ring and Thorum (Northbands at the time) was one of the only places that offered masculine rose gold rings. He absolutely fell in love and enjoyed the silicone ring inclusion as he flies planes in the air force and gets a bit nervous to wear tungsten up in the air in case of injury.
Fast forward 8 months later and my husband lost his precious ring in the ocean off the coast of Gulf Shores Alabama. He was absolutely devastated. He's one of those men that have difficulties getting over accidents and on top of it we were not in a place to be able to afford another ring right off the back. We cried then came to the conclusion that his beautiful ring ended up back in the ocean where our marriage began.
I messaged Thorum hoping to the Hugh heavens that they were the same company that was previously northbands. Looking for the same ring my husband had and some information on a possible warranty. I wasn't expecting much but man I was blown away.
Thorums customer service was incredible. They looked up my order number from Northbands and collected my information. Despite their warranty not covering accidents Caleb let me fulfill a warranty replacement out of the kindness of his heart and I cannot explain how much it meant to us. My husband needed a win so deeply. Life has been so stressful and human error happens. We would recommend Thorum to everyone we know not only for the amazing quality and beauty but the phenomenal humanistic connection and service.

Thorum is amazing!
They took care of our issue super fast and provided care instructions for us to take care of the custom wedding band. They have wonderful products and I would recommend Thorum to anyone that is considering purchasing a wedding band for their groom. Their rings aren't in any way the same old run-of-the-mill traditional type male wedding band. Great craftsmanship is really special and each one is one of a kind. The process of getting a replacement was easy and they even let me do it despite being just a little past the warranty period! The color of the wood inset is lighter than in my original but I think that's just to be expected given wood grain, etc. Appreciate how easy and quick this process was!

It was disappointing that my question regarding the deer horn antlers fading. So while I did get another ring (thank you) I wonder if the same issue will occur.
I gotta tell ya - it’s exceptionally poor customer service in this day and age to not provide a phone number so someone can have a voice to voice conversation. I put my phone number in my email and did not receive a call.

My other ring broke due to the glue separating. I let Northbands know via warranty form and within 45 minutes got everything setup to get a new one in the mail. Only cost me shipping. Great customer service and easy to submit a warranty request.

I can't sing the praises of Northbands enough. I bought my husband's wedding ring from Caleb back when they were called Anvil Ring Co. He was super helpful with sizing and got us the ring in a very short turn around. It was beautiful and my husband has loved it. The wood on the ring started to crack recently, so I reached out to them and they warrantied the ring for the price of shipping. They let us keep the old ring and sent us another one in a beautiful wood box along with another silicone ring. They also had an even faster turnaround this time - about a week. We are so impressed with the quality and craftsmanship that go into these rings. I could not recommend more!

We purchased this ring for our wedding, and have loved it. After not knowing how to properly care for the ring the redwood insert had started to detach after less than a year. We contacted the customer service department, and had the best experience. Not only did they educate us on how to properly wax and care for the ring (and even tell us how to repair the damaged one) - they also sent us a brand new ring! And it was honestly the most pleasant experience. I couldn't recommend their products or this company more.

I ordered the original ring back in September of 2020. My fiancé absolutely loved it. However, we work in a setting in which we have to constantly apply hand sanitizer which wore down the bond on the ring causing the wooden insert to slip out. I reached out and not only did they immediately ship out a brand new ring, but they’re letting us keep the old ring with instructions on how to fix it as well as instructions on how to properly maintain the new ring. The customer service was above and beyond.

We initially purchased a rather expensive northbands ring based on the primarily stellar reviews. We received the ring, and within several months of removing it from the box, the exterior portion became completely detached from the interior portion of the ring. This ring was very rarely worn (my husband preferred the silicone band for work or any scenarios that might result in exposure to the elements - he literally would remove it to put on hand sanitizer).
We contacted the company regarding the issue and they were very responsive and happy to send a replacement. We had to pay the shipping for the replacement, but that wasn’t a major issue for us. We received the ring quickly, but upon removing it from the box, we observed that the replacement ring was also broken. The exterior portion of the ring was spinning and not attached to the interior portion.
Needless to say, we were incredibly disappointed and frustrated. Since having received the defective product, we have made repeated attempts to get in touch with the sellers throughout the week and have yet to receive so much as an acknowledgment.
We support small business and the last thing I want to do is take the time to write a negative review, but it seems as though there are few other options left. If you are looking to spend a good chunk of money on a quality ring, I would suggest going elsewhere; not only because of the poor product quality, but also because of the even worse customer service.

This was a warranty replacement for my other ring. When I first had an issue I expected them to take my ring and repair it; instead they just sent me a whole new ring! The fit and finish is top notch, and I dont think they can be blamed for the first ring's issue. Customer service is A+ and I happily recommend them to everyone I know that is looking for a ring.

Beautiful Ring, great communication/service and fast shipping. This is my second ring (replacement) as there was an issue with the first one. Wood rings are gorgeous but require a bit of maintenance as opposed to plain metal rings. Also hand sanitisers are not good to wood, which is important to note during this time. So, while you may love the wood design, be prepared to take care of it!

Good job. Got married 2/14/2020 and the wood insert came apart from titanium band. I notified Northbands and asked if I could get different material and pay the upgrade amount which was $60 more. They said they could only send me same ring. Either way, nice gesture to replace ring. Hind sight I would have ordered metal/gold style. Afraid the wood portion may come apart. Steer clear of wood material in rings. Thanks
